Home/Work/Heavy haul freight

A heavy haul site that sends quote requests straight to dispatch.

Seven pages for an oversize-load carrier. A broker can see what they haul and get a request to the person who prices it, without a phone call.

Homepage of a heavy-haul freight site: an oversize-load headline set across a dark navy drafting grid, with a quote button and a dispatch phone number.
The homepage as it renders. No template underneath it.

What was wrong

A broker with an oversize load asks four carriers at once whether they can move it, on this route, by Thursday. The first clear answer gets the call. The old site said the company hauled freight, gave a phone number, and answered none of that.

  • Nothing about equipment: no deck types, axle configurations or capacity.
  • No stated service area.
  • A contact form that returned a blank page, so requests died in it.
  • Unusable on a phone, where brokers and drivers work all day.

What I built

Seven pages at the base price, each answering a broker's question in the order they ask it, all one tap from the homepage.

  • Homepage: what they haul, where they run, and the quote button, above the fold on a phone.
  • Equipment: deck types and configurations with capacities. The page brokers land on.
  • Services: oversize and overweight work kept apart from standard freight.
  • Permits & routing: what the company handles and what the shipper provides.
  • Service area: the lanes actually run, named.
  • About: authority, insurance, years in the trade.
  • Request a quote: the page the other six feed.

The quote form asks for the load, not the customer.

Dimensions, weight, origin, destination and deadline: what dispatch needs to give a number.

The look is a dark navy drafting grid, the surface a route survey gets drawn on, not the usual truck at sunset.

What's different now

  • Quote requests reach dispatch directly, load details included. No portal, no login, no form-service trial to lapse.
  • Brokers can qualify the carrier without calling, which removes a phone call from every enquiry.
  • It works in a cab: phone-first, one-tap dial, and under a second to load on a truck-stop connection.
  • MC and DOT numbers are on the page, where a broker checks first.
  • Changes go live the same day. New truck, new lane, new rate sheet: a text, and it's live.

The next one is nothing like it A behavioral health practice: same base price, opposite problem.

Want a site like this? I'll build your homepage first.

I charge $450 once or $65 a month, whatever the trade. Clients aren't named on this site, and yours wouldn't be either unless you asked.

  1. Tell me what you do. Two minutes, or by text.
  2. I build your homepage. Two days, free.
  3. Keep it and we launch. Or don't, and keep the mock-up anyway.

Or call or text 618-882-1996, or email [email protected]

Goes straight to me. No mailing list, no cold calls.
