Home/Your website, corrected
Your website, corrected.
Most local business homepages make the same five mistakes. Here's a typical one with a red pen on it, the fixed version beside it, and what the fix costs.
Same business, same number, same town.
- "Under construction" since 2011. The first line should say what you do and where.
- A welcome nobody reads. They came for one thing, and it's usually your number.
- The number, hidden behind office hours. Make it the biggest thing on the page, one tap on a phone, and say whether you're open right now. Pipes burst on Saturday nights.
- A Hotmail address. Your email and your domain should be in the business's own name.
- Last updated 2011. Every change meant finding whoever built it, so nothing changed. Text me a change and it's live the same day.
Riverbend Plumbing is a made-up example. Its website is not unusual.
Want yours corrected? I'll build the homepage first.
It costs $450 once, or $65 a month and I run it, the same for every business. The full price list.
- Tell me what you do. Two minutes, or by text.
- I build your homepage. Two days, free.
- Keep it and we launch. Or don't, and keep the mock-up anyway.
